Preparing the Surfaces
For the Interior surfaces, existing POP or putty must be removed till the plaster surface is exposed. Ensure surface should be strong and free from dirt, dust, chalk, loose particles. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required or move the loose particles with air compressor. Oil or grease must be removed with degreasing solvents. Any cracks in the plastered surface should be filled with Aquatech Crack fillers as per the requirement and other damaged surface should be repaired with cement and sand mixture or polymer modified repair mortar. Before application of the product, the surface must be pre wetting and saturated to a surface dry condition, which improves the bonding of water block 2K to the substrate.
