Preparing the Surfaces
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, oily substances, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. For areas severely affected by algae or fungus application of Dulux Aquatech Pre Treatment Coat is recommended. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with Dulux Aquatech Crack fillers (5mm, 10mm & 20mm) according to the crack size and depth. Avoid application of putty or filling compounds.
Cleaning
Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before washing with clean water.
